Terms of Service
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms cover your use of AppToReel. They're written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if anything here isn't clear, ask before you rely on it.
AppToReel is in public beta: features and prices can still change, and we’ll say so here when they do. Payments are handled by our reseller Paddle, as described in section 4.
1. Who we are
AppToReel (“we”, “us”) provides the service these terms cover, and these terms are an agreement between you and AppToReel. You can reach us at apptoreel.help@gmail.com, which is the right route for anything in this document. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.
2. What the service does
You give us a link to your app or website, and if you like your own screenshots or a screen recording. We read that page and generate draft short-form content from it: hooks, scripts and captions, voiced videos (Reel, Top 3 and Story time), and meme, carousel, compare and audio-hook graphics.
You decide what is made. You set up every video yourself before it renders, and everything lands in your library. We never publish anything to any platform on your behalf — posting is a step you take yourself.
The service is still being built. Some parts are still incomplete — what isn’t ready is marked Soon in the app — and features can change or be withdrawn. We’ll tell you before withdrawing something you’re paying for.
3. Your account
You need an account to generate content. Keep your login details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly through apptoreel.help@gmail.com if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
4. Credits, plans and payment
What a credit is. One credit renders one video — a Reel, a Top 3 or a Story time. The price of each video is shown before you render it. Memes, carousels, compare graphics and audio hooks don’t use credits on any plan.
Free videos. Videos rendered before your first purchase carry a small “Made with AppToReel” mark. Videos rendered on a paid plan or with a credit pack don’t.
When a credit is spent. At the moment you press Render on a video. Generating a batch costs nothing, and a video you never render costs nothing.
Allowances. Paid plans include a credit allowance for each billing period. Unused credits don’t carry into the next period. The free grant is one-time and doesn’t renew.
Top-ups. Credit packs bought on top of a plan don’t expire at the end of the billing period — they stay on your balance while your account is open. Your plan’s monthly allowance is always spent first, so a top-up is only drawn on once that allowance is used up. Top-ups are one-off purchases and don’t renew.
Fair use. Formats that don’t cost credits are unlimited in the ordinary sense, subject to daily generation limits that exist to stop automated abuse. The page tells you when you’re down to your last two generations of the day.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Credits already spent aren’t refundable, and this doesn’t affect any statutory right to a refund you may have where you live.
Who you pay. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, and its buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
Billing. Prices are in US dollars, and tax is added at checkout where it applies. A subscription is paid in advance for each month or year and renews automatically at the price you signed up at until you cancel. A yearly plan’s credits arrive monthly, like a monthly plan’s.
Changing plan. Moving to another plan takes effect straight away: the prorated difference for the rest of the period is charged to, or credited against, your saved payment method, and your allowance changes with it — up by the difference on a bigger plan, capped at the new allowance on a smaller one.
Refunds. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of any payment; see the Refund Policy for how much and how.
5. What you may not use AppToReel for
These categories are refused automatically, and an account used for them can be closed without notice. This isn’t squeamishness: payment processors and our AI providers prohibit them outright, and one breach can take the service down for everyone.
Prohibited. Adult content and services; gambling and betting; controlled substances, research chemicals and prescription medicines sold without prescription; counterfeit goods, fake documents and stolen payment data; malware; content that targets, sexualises or endangers children.
Also prohibited. Impersonating a person, brand or organisation you have no right to represent; submitting a link you have no right to advertise; content designed to deceive, including fabricated reviews, endorsements or results; anything unlawful where you or your audience are.
Platform rules are yours to follow. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and advertising regulators each have their own rules, including about disclosing ads and AI-generated media. You are responsible for meeting them for anything you post.
6. Your content and what we generate
Yours stays yours. The links, descriptions and files you submit remain yours. You give us permission to process and store them only as far as needed to run the service for you.
What you make is yours to use. You may use the videos and graphics you generate, including commercially and after you cancel — free ones included, with the mark they were rendered with.
What AI output is and isn’t. Generated text and video are produced by models. Similar output may be generated for someone else, and in many countries purely machine-generated material may not attract copyright at all. We can’t promise a draft is unique, accurate, or safe to publish without review — which is why review is a step, not an option.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may act on them without owing you anything for it.
7. Publishing, and the rules that apply to it
AppToReel never posts for you. When you post a draft yourself, you are the advertiser, and the obligations that come with that are yours: platform policy, the rules on labelling advertising, and — increasingly — the rules on disclosing that media was generated or altered by AI. Several platforms now require that label, and some markets require it by law. Check what applies where your audience is before you post a video.
8. Our side of the service
The site itself. The software, design, wording and brand are ours. Using AppToReel doesn’t transfer any of that, and you may not copy the service, resell access, or scrape it.
Other people’s services. We rely on third parties for hosting, AI generation and payments. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control, and an outage on their side can interrupt ours. The current list is in the Privacy Policy.
9. What we don't promise
The service is provided as it is. We don’t promise uninterrupted availability, that generated content will perform commercially, or that it will suit any particular purpose. We don’t promise that a draft complies with advertising law or platform policy in your market — check before you post.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we aren’t liable for lost profits, lost revenue or indirect losses.
11. Ending things
You can have your account deleted at any time by writing to apptoreel.help@gmail.com. We can suspend or close an account that breaches section 5, that puts our payment or AI providers at risk, or that we’re required to act on by law. Where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to export what’s yours.
12. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting them. These terms are governed by the law of the place where AppToReel is operated from. If something goes wrong, write to us first — most problems are solved by a reply. None of this removes protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, which apply whatever this section says. Questions: apptoreel.help@gmail.com.
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
